 System plans must be picked up within 30 days. All system plans left longer than 30 days will be discarded as abandoned.

An HMIS WAS NOT provided with the submittal. The HMIS shall include the following information: Please provide an inventory statement for any hazardous materials that are added, modified, or removed as part of this scope of work only; don't include the existing hazardous materials in the building.
DisapprovedSheet PD150 indicates the existing medical air intake to remain, but it appears the intake location will now be a family lounge. Will this be extended up to the roof?
DisapprovedThe vacuum exhaust appears to be less than 25' from "shaft 1" on the roof. Vacuum exhausts are to be at least 25' away from building openings per 2018 NFPA 99 5.1.3.7.7.2 (2), please relocate.
DisapprovedPlease verify if helicopter landing pad is a "heliport" or "helistop" per IFC definitions (a Helistop does not allow fueling, defueling, maintenances, repairs or storage of helicopters). The requirements will change based on which one it is designed.

DisapprovedPlease verify if all new medical gas use spaces will or will not be anesthetizing locations. Anesthetizing locations have different requirements than general Category 1 spaces.
FYI2015 IFC - MEDICAL GAS SYSTEMS. Medical gas systems including, but not limited to, distribution piping, supply manifolds, connections, pressure regulators and relief devices and valves, shall be installed in accordance with NFPA 99 and the general provisions of this chapter. Existing medical gas systems shall be maintained in accordance with the maintenance, inspection and testing provisions of NFPA 99 for medical gas systems. (2015 IFC ?5306.5)
FYIMED GAS INSPECTIONS. Medical Gas system piping installation requires MULTIPLE INSPECTIONS by the CSFD due to installation requirements and procedures. ALL PORTIONS OF PIPING SYSTEMS SHALL REQUIRE INSPECTION; no piping shall be sealed or concealed prior to inspection. Contact the CSFD Office of the Fire Marshal at 385-5978 for an inspection schedule for this project. All paperwork, documentation, installer/verifier certifications, and needed test equipment shall be available upon Inspector's request.
