 System plans must be picked up within 30 days. All system plans left longer than 30 days will be discarded as abandoned.

An inspection of this hazardous materials installation/process is required prior to final Certificate of Occupancy/occupancy of the building/commencement of hazardous materials operations. To schedule the hazardous materials inspection, please call 719-385-5978 and follow prompts to schedule the inspection. Please have the plan review number ready before calling.
I2015 IFC - CERTIFICATION. Medical gas system installers, inspectors and verifiers shall be certified in accordance with American Society of Sanitary Engineers (ASSE) 6000 Professional Qualification Standards. (2015 IFC ?5306.6)
I2015 IFC - MEDICAL GAS SYSTEMS. Medical gas systems including, but not limited to, distribution piping, supply manifolds, connections, pressure regulators and relief devices and valves, shall be installed in accordance with NFPA 99 and the general provisions of this chapter. Existing medical gas systems shall be maintained in accordance with the maintenance, inspection and testing provisions of NFPA 99 for medical gas systems. (2015 IFC ?5306.5)
IMED GAS INSPECTIONS. Medical Gas system piping installation requires MULTIPLE INSPECTIONS by the CSFD due to installation requirements and procedures. ALL PORTIONS OF PIPING SYSTEMS SHALL REQUIRE INSPECTION; no piping shall be sealed or concealed prior to inspection. Contact the CSFD Office of the Fire Marshal at 385-5978 for an inspection schedule for this project. All paperwork, documentation, installer/verifier certifications, and needed test equipment shall be available upon Inspector's request.
IGENERAL. Medical gas systems shall be installed and inspected by credentialed American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) 6010 medical gas system installers, ASSE 6015 bulk medical gas system installers, ASSE 6020 medical gas system inspectors, and ASSE 6030 medical gas verifiers. Contractor shall be responsible for compliance with all local, state or federal codes, standards, and appropriate industry practices. (2015 IFC ?5306.1)
