NOTE - THE NOTED DISAPPROVED ITEMS MAY NOT CONSTITUTE A COMPLETE LIST OF VIOLATIONS. THE DESIGNER IS TO CONDUCT A COMPLETE RE-REVIEW OF THE PLANS FOR ADDITIONAL VIOLATIONS OF THE STANDARD COMMENTS AND INCORRECT INFORMATION PRIOR TO RESUBMITTING.

 System plans must be picked up within 30 days. All system plans left longer than 30 days will be discarded as abandoned.

Disapproved*****(STANDARD COMMENT 19) DISAPPROVED COMMENTS The following information and/or corrections are needed prior to completing a full plan review. Please respond, in writing on letterhead, to each of the following comments: 1. Exit signs and emergency lighting is still missing form the lounge/lobby core - typical all floors. Also review the disapproved plans for additional written comments prior to submittal of new plans.
Disapproved*****(DISAPPROVED) WATER SUPPLIES To help us ensure there is adequate exterior fire protection, please provide the following: ---XXX-- Approved Water Plan (mains, hydrants, etc. for new structures in green field development) CSFD must have approved water plans prior to approval of building permit plans.

FYI(STANDARD COMMENT) REVIEWS: 2015 IFC 105.4.4 Colorado Springs Fire Department construction reviews are based upon information provided on the drawings and/or the attached reference material. Issues or features that are not presented within the construction documents are assumed to be complaint with applicable codes/standards. It is the responsibility of the building owner to ensure that minimum code requirements are met as established by the Authority Having Jurisdiction, whether or not the requirements are specifically indicated on the submitted construction documents. The CSFD has reviewed the submittal in accordance with the adopted fire code requirements, CSFD local amendments, City Code Standards, and applicable NFPA Standards. All plan review comments are subject to final on-site field inspections, and testing by the CSFD. Review and approval by the CSFD shall not relieve the applicant of the responsibility of compliance with the International Fire Code.

Disapproved*****(STANDARD COMMENT 19) DISAPPROVED COMMENTS The following information and/or corrections are needed prior to completing a full plan review. Please respond, in writing on letterhead, to each of the following comments: 1. Elevator landing communications: plans did not indicate any 2-way elevator landing communications as required by 1009.7. Plans shall indicate this system, location at landings and responsible party (electrical or fire alarm contractor). 2. Exit signs and emergency lighting needs to be indicated in their entirety either on the RCP's or the electrical sheets. 3. Access Control: plans are showing exit push buttons and request to exit motion sensors, but they are not indicated on any layouts. If they are not being provided, remove from the documents. if they are being provided, show them at the doors so equipped. 4. Access Control: Plans indicate fail secure - please provide me a code path for allowing fail secure and indicate how this system will respond to a fire alarm/fire sprinkler activation? Also review the disapproved plans for additional written comments prior to submittal of new plans.

Disapproved(DISAPPROVED) TEMPORARY ADDRESS A temporary address has been assigned to these plans. CSFD will not approve the construction plans until the Regional Building Department Enumerations Office has assigned a permanent address to this facility, and has approved the construction plans.
