 System plans must be picked up within 30 days. All system plans left longer than 30 days will be discarded as abandoned.

Disapproved*****(STANDARD COMMENT) DISAPPROVED COMMENTS The following information and/or corrections are needed prior to completing a full plan review. Please respond, in writing on letterhead, to each of the following comments: 1. RME for both companies must sign cover pages of product data. 2. Provide list of acoustically distinguishable spaces and if intelligibility will be obtained. 3. Provide voice message to be played 4. Show communication loss, dry sprinkler system high and low pressure, and fire pump operation signals in sequence of operation 5. Sequence of operation shows activation of elevator shaft detection, but the plans do not show detection in the shaft. Confirm the type of elevator being installed,and if detection is required in the shaft. 6. Change sequence of operation to show that the duct detectors activate a supervisory signal and do not activate visual/audible notification. 7. Change sequence of operation to show that the CO detectors activate a supervisory signal. 8. Change sequence of operation to show that the flow switch activates the exterior horn/strobe. 9. What is the mounting height of the notification devices in the garage? 10. Is the parking garage heated? If not, are the alarm devices listed for this environment? 11. Provide pull station next to FACP. 12. What is the fire alarm roomon the 1st floor being used for? 13. 15 cd speaker strobe on 2nd - 4th floors outside janitor room is overspaced for this candela rating per NFPA 72, Table 18.5.5.5.1 (a). 14. 15 cd speaker strobe on 2nd - 4th floors is too far off stairwell wall to meet corridor spacing requirements. 15. Phone lines are not allowed for monitoring per the 2019 edition of NFPA 72. Provide NFPA 72 acceptable monitoring method. Provide cut sheets on communicator and show location on your plans. 16. Review stopped. No review of battery or voltage drop calculations has been performed. Also review the disapproved plans for additional written comments prior to submittal of new plans.
FYICORRECTIONS All corrections and comments are to be submitted back to CSFD in writing, or provide submittal sheets/drawings, etc as requested, to complete the review. Corrections are not accepted over the phone, via fax, email or verbally.
