2013

August 10 - Fire Captain deployed to the Elk Complex located ten miles southwest of Pine, ID.  He will acting as a Type 1 Safety Officer trainee for Rich Harvey's Type 1 Great Basin Incident Management Team.  Demobed on 8/23.

August 13 - One Type 3 engine deployed to the Red Canyon Fire (CO-GFX-400) near Glenwood Springs, CO. Demobed and re-assigned on 08/16.  Reassigned to the Red Canyon Fire in Glenwood Springs, CO has been re-assigned and will now support initial attach activities near Draper, UT.  Demobed on 8/25.

August 13 - Fire Lieutenant deployed to the Red Canyon Fire located one mile east of Glenwood Springs, CO.  He will be the Communications Unit Leader as a part of Todd Richardson's Type 2 Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team.  Demobed and retruned home 8/20.

August 13 - Fire Captain and Lieutenant deployed with Pete Blume's Type 1 Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team to Boise, ID.  This team has been prepositioned due to the high level of fire activity in the area.  The Capt. acts as a Type 1 Safety Officer Trainee and the Lt. is the Team's Medical Unit Leader.  Demobed and returned 08/21.

August 20 - Fire Lieutenant deployed to Sacramento, CA as a Communications Technician trainee.  The Lieutenant will be a part of Shane Del Grosso's Type 2 Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team.  This team has been prepositioned to Sacramento due to the high amount of fire activity in Northern California.  Demobed on 8/27.

September 16 - Four personnel on a Type 3 Engine deployed to Boulder County to assist with flood recovery operations.  Crew assigned to a Rocky Moutain Region Type 2 Incident Management Team. Crew was ordered to act as sawyers and assist in gaining access to areas needing infrastructure stabilization and repair.
