STOP a Thief -- It's a fact!
Most car thefts could be prevented if folks would:

• take the car keys (more than 40% of car thieves found the keys somewhere in the car -- in the ignition, under the floor mat, over the visor and all those other "clever" places
• lock the car
• don't hide a second set of keys in the car
• park in well-lighted areas (more than half of car thieves work at night)
• never leave the car running while not behind the wheel (even on cold mornings, outside convenience store or at the ATM)
• park the car with its wheels points to the curb, set the parking brake
