Colorado Springs Police Department
It is the mission of the Colorado Springs Police Department to "promote the quality of life in Colorado Springs by providing police services with integrity and a spirit of excellence, in partnership with our Community."
In order to achieve this mission, the police department provides other services to the community in addition to the law enforcement function. Our community outreach efforts are intended to solidify the relationships we have with the public – our customers – to ensure that together, we can respond to issues affecting our quality of life and maintain this beautiful city as among America’s safest.
The Colorado Springs Police Department offers a variety of services that inform, educate, and protect the residents of our community. While some of these services directly affect your safety and security, the police department's ultimate goal is to provide services that improve the overall quality of life in our community.
