Springs in Bloom
|
The 2013 Springs in Bloom flower bed adoption program seeks individuals, families, clubs and businesses to adopt any of approximately 58 flower beds located throughout Colorado Springs. You can help create community by putting together a team of volunteers to participate!
Flower beds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Available beds are listed in an inventory table. Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department will provide the flowers free of charge to all volunteer adopter groups. Flower bed adopters will take responsibility for planting and maintaining the beds throughout the summer, per guidelines provided by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is coordinating the volunteer effort and advising the teams that step forward to participate. Organizers hope to have sponsors for all beds by April 1st since prime planting season is May 18th through June 8th. If you are interested in adopting a flower bed or making a donation to the Springs In Bloom program, please complete the application and fax or mail per the contact information on the form. |
