City of Colorado Springs / Housing Development / Neighborhood Strategy Area MapsNeighborhood Strategy Area MapsNeighborhood Strategy Areas (NSA) must meet certain federal guidelines to use federal funds. Neighborhood Strategy Areas are older areas of the city designated through an extensive survey and planning process. This process results in the creation of a Master Plan used to plot and execute strategies to preserve and improve neighborhoods.
The following are designated neighborhood strategy areas in the City of Colorado Springs. Click on the links below for each map, or on the document below for all maps.

Ivywild
Mill Street
Westside
Hillside, Mesa Springs and Knob Hill (Platte Avenue Business and Neighborhood Association) were closed out as NSAs in 2009. NSAs that are closed out receive funding for Planning Activities (CDBG) for one year thereafter.
