Neighborhood Park Facilities & Maps

Neighborhood parks are generally one to six acres in size, and are intended to be in walking distance of the neighborhood in which they serve. Amenities can include walking paths, playgrounds, picnic tables, small picnic pavilions, sod grass areas, backstops and/or dirt infields, basketball courts, tennis courts, or in-line hockey facilities.

Acacia, 115 E. Platte Ave. (Tejon & Bijou Sts.) is Colorado Springs' first park, and was donated to the City by General William Jackson Palmer, the city's founder, in 1871.
