Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services offers the opportunity to volunteer for fun one-time projects or projects that last through the spring/summer.
SPRINGS IN BLOOM program seeks individuals, families, clubs and businesses to adopt any of approximately 100 flower beds located throughout Colorado Springs. You can help create community by putting together a team of volunteers to participate. GROUP PROJECTS/OUTDOOR VOUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Looking for a community service project? The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services has teamed up with the Trails and Open Space Coalition to create "Partners in Open Spaces and Parks". HILLSIDE COMMUNITY GARDEN BUILD DAY What: Help build the new community garden! Where: Hillside Community Center, 925 S. Institute When: Saturday, May 18, at 10 am. For information about how to help build the new community garden or to learn more about acquiring a plot, email Ben at bpalm@springsgov.com or call (719) 385-7906. Please bring work gloves and shovels if you have them. ROCKY MOUNTAIN FIELD INSTITUTE is looking for volunteers for our fall work in the Garden of the Gods. Advance registration is required. Please call or email for details and to register, at least one week in advance (if possible). Some days fill well in advance, so early registration is encouraged. You will be emailed directions, maps and a release form when you register.
