One measure of the efficiency of information technology resources is the ratio of central IT budget dollars to full-time equivalent employees (FTE). Colorado Springs spends $1,818 per FTE, 53 percent less than the average among similar-sized cities. Additionally, 75 percent of internal users rank the City's support services as good or excellent, compared to an average 50 percent among other like-size municipalities.
