Community Development Week
The City of Colorado Springs Housing Development Division and El Paso County will celebrate National Community Development Week April 25 - 29. The Housing Development Division celebrates Community Development Week by recognizing the success of programs and agencies that have utilized federal grant funds to provide services to low and moderate income families and individuals in the community.
Since 1974, Colorado Springs has received an annual grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to develop the community by addressing affordable housing, human services, homeless services, housing rehabilitation and other important neighborhood revitalization projects.
Information about various services and programs will be displayed throughout the week in the lobby of the City Administration Building at 30 S. Nevada Avenue.
