Mountain Metro Rides 21st Annual Bike to Work Day and City Council Cruise

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Mountain Metro Rides, Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, June 25, 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. This year’s Bike to Work Day boasts a series of new and improved events that you won’t want to miss. Registration is open, so sign up today!

  • Members of City Council will ride in the 21st annual Bike to Work Day event and citizens are welcome to join them. The City Council Cruise will depart from Goose Gossage Park at 6:00 a.m.
  • Cyclists are encouraged to get a free safety check at Criterium Bicycles, 6150 Corporate Drive on Saturday June 21st from 10:00 a.m. – Noon.
  • Steve Clark, from the League of American Bicyclists, will join us this year and share with participants some of the knowledge he has gained through his visits to cities throughout the country to help them become more bicycle friendly.
  • The Colorado Raptors minor league football players will be signing autographs and helping out at Acacia Park.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides local fixed-route bus service and Mountain Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped. Mountain Metropolitan Transit also provides other services such as Mountain Metro Rides’ ridesharing, vanpool, and bicycling programs.
