Celebrate Opening Day for the Returning FREE Manitou Springs Shuttle

 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) and the City of Manitou Springs will kick off the start of the 2014 Manitou Springs Shuttle service 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. Join us at the Manitou Springs Town Clock located at the junction of Manitou Avenue and Canon Avenue in downtown Manitou Springs. Activities and entertainment will include:

  • Q & A with Manitou Springs Mayor Marc Snyder
  • Melodrama actors from the Iron Springs Chateau
  • Autographs by the Colorado Raptors minor league football team
  • Coupons from Manitou Springs merchants, shuttle schedules, and maps 

For all the early birds out there, shuttle service begins at 6 a.m. on May 18. Go onlineto get shuttle bus times and view a map of the new route, specifically designed for Incline hikers and COG Railway passengers.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides local fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped. Mountain Metropolitan Transit also provides other services such as Mountain Metro Rides’ ridesharing, vanpool, and bicycling programs. For added convenience, there are bike racks on all buses for riders who want to utilize the bike-n-busprogram.
