Austin Bluffs Parkway Traffic Advisory

Emergency Water Line Repair

Due to emergency water line repairs, the intersection of Stanton Road and Austin Bluffs Parkway will be severely impacted. Repairs are expected to take 2-3 days to complete, weather permitting. Details are described below.

Segment 1 Temporary Closure and Lane Reduction– Austin Bluffs Parkway at Stanton Road

Temporary Closure of Stanton Road at Austin Bluffs Parkway

Beginning Thursday, April 17 at 8:30 a.m. through Saturday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m., the Stanton Road and Austin Bluffs Parkway intersection will be closed. Access to Stanton Road and Colorado Springs Christian School to and from Austin Bluffs Parkway will be prohibited. The intersection will reopen to traffic Saturday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m. 

Lane Reduction Austin Bluffs Parkway at Stanton Road

Beginning Thursday, April 17 at 8:30 a.m. through Saturday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m., Austin Bluffs Parkway at Stanton Road, westbound and eastbound, will be reduced to one lane. Two lanes in each direction will reopen to traffic Saturday, April 19, at 5:00 p.m.

Delays are expected and motorists are strongly advised to use alternate routes. Posted signage, traffic cones and flaggers will be present to help motorists safely navigate the area.  Access to businesses and homes will be maintained at all times.
