Robbery Investigators Need Help in Identifying Suspect

On October 15, 2013, officers were dispatched to the Sears store located at 2050 Southgate Road to investigate a report of a robbery. 


The investigation revealed an unknown male concealing a Leatherman Multi-Tool inside his jacket.  The suspect attempted to flee the store without paying for the merchandise and was contacted by an employee.  The suspect threatened the employee with a metal baton which prompted the employee to back away in fear of being assaulted.   The suspect fled the scene with the merchandise. 


The suspect, whose picture is attached, is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5’11” to 6’03” tall, with a thin build.  He was wearing a blue coat with black sleeves, camouflage pants and white shoes. 


Investigators have probable cause to charge this suspect with Aggravated Robbery.
