Post-Flooding Mold Tips

Colorado Springs, Colo. – City leadership would like share the following information and resources as they relate to post-flooding mold:

Due to the September flood events there is an increased occurrence of mold in affected homes.  Mold is a common side effect of flooding, as it can grow on almost anything when there has been water damage, dampness, or high humidity.  There are potential health risks associated with being exposed to certain types of mold, which may include fatigue and inability to concentrate.
