Mayor Steve Bach unveils the Airport Air Service Task Force

Mayor Steve Bach announced today that he is forming a new Airport Air Service Task Force.

“This blue ribbon community leadership group, led by Bill Hybl, will assist our Airport in efforts to improve air service. The goal is more affordability and destinations for air travelers. This Task Force will complement the Airport Advisory Commission, which focuses on land use impacting the Airport,” said Mayor Bach.

Steve Bartolin – Chairman and CEO of the Broadmoor

Scott Blackmun – CEO of the United States Olympic Committee

  • CEO since 2010
  • Former COO of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG)
  • Serves on numerous local boards including: the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

General Victor Renuart – Retired Air Force Four Star General

  • Fighter pilot with over 3,900 flight hours and 60 combat missions over Iraq and Bosnia
  • Retired in 2010 with over 39 years of service
