LART Application Deadline

The deadline to turn in your 2014 LART application is Monday, July 8. Completed application, along with 10 copies, should be turned in to the Office of City Council, located on the third floor of City Hall, 107 N. Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, by 5 p.m.

For the 2014 budget year, City Council has administrative responsibility for the LART Committee and will approve and present the LART budget to the Mayor for inclusion in the municipal budget.

The purpose of LART is to attract visitors and enhance the economy of the City and the Pikes Peak region. Revenues are generated from a 2 percent tax on lodging and campground space rental and a 1 percent tax on automobile rental. For 2013, LART revenues were estimated at $3.89 million.
