2nd Annual Mayor's Cup Fundraiser
Wednesday, May 22, 2013

The 2nd Annual Mayor’s Cup will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 on the east course of the Broadmoor Golf Club, with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Parking is east of the International Center, near the Golden Bee.

Mayor Bach will announce the winners of two full tuition scholarships to Pikes Peak Community College at the awards luncheon, held immediately following the tournament in the Donald Ross Room. The scholarships are funded by the 2012 Mayor’s Cup.

Four lucky golfers will have a chance to win one million dollars in the Pikes Peak Community College Million Dollar Shot Contest.  Mayor Steve Bach will sign four golf balls placed into golf sleeves. At the conclusion of the Mayor’s Cup, golfers who found a signed ball at check-in will head to the 18thfairway and have one shot to “hole out” and potentially win $1 million, paid in a 40-year annuity.

This year, 20% of the net proceeds from the Mayor’s Golf Cup will be donated to The First Tee of Pikes Peak. All other proceeds will benefit the City’s Spirit of the Springs initiatives to cultivate future City government leadership and encourage citizen involvement. The $50,000 raised last year benefitted The Colorado Springs Conservatory, Leadership Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs Together, and provided scholarships to local students from Pikes Peak Community College.

Special thanks to The Broadmoor, event host, and to GE Johnson and all of our thirty-one sponsors for their generous contributions.
