Million Dollar Shot Contest Joins Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament

One of four randomly chosen golfers at the 2ndAnnual Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament on May 23rdat The Broadmoor could be an overnight millionaire. Mayor Bach will sign four golf balls placed into golfer sleeves. Golfers who find one at check-in could win the Pikes Peak Community College Million Dollar Shot Contest.

Upon conclusion of the Mayor’s Cup, golfers with a signed ball will head to the 18thfairway and have one shot to “hole out” and potentially win $1 Million, paid in a 40-year annuity.

Pikes Peak Community College is the official sponsor of the One Million Dollar Shot Contest – one of 31 sponsors, including The Broadmoor as the title sponsor.  Please visit to view the complete sponsor list.

Proceeds will benefit the Spirit of the Springs initiatives. Last year, the Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament raised $50,000 for great organizations like: The Colorado Springs Conservatory, Leadership Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs Together, and scholarships to local students for Pikes Peak Community College.
