The City of Colorado Springs is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Civil Service Commission.

The Civil Service Commission administers the rules for the City's police and fire departments governing the classification, employment, promotion, discipline, and conduct of the City's civil service employees. As deemed necessary, the Civil Service Commission develops and recommends changes to the civil service rules which are presented to City Council for final approval.  Meetings take place the first Tuesday of every other month (March, May, July, September, and November 2013) at 8:30 a.m.
