Fillmore Corridor Improvement Project - Wednesday, March 20, 2013

On Wednesday, March 20, night work will be taking place on West Fillmore Street from west of Straus Lane to east of Parker Street.  Eastbound traffic on Fillmore will be down to one lane. Straus Lane and Sage Street will be closed at Fillmore Street with access off of Taylor Street.  Work will start at 8 p.m. and finish around 6 a.m.

Access to businesses and residents will remain open at all times with a detour in place.

For information or questions on construction impacts, please call Blue Ridge Construction at (719) 578-5225 EXT 10.

The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority was formed when voters in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Green Mountain Falls and El Paso County approved a one percent sales tax in November of 2004 to address infrastructure and transit needs in the region.  The tax revenue is divided into three categories: 55 percent for capital improvements (such as this project), 35 percent for maintenance, and 10 percent for transit.
