Councilwoman Attends Solar Garden Dedication
On Friday, Sept. 14, Councilwoman Brandy Williams attended the dedication ceremony for the Clean Energy Collective solar garden, a 500-kilowatts project located southeast of I-25 and Academy Blvd.
In September 2011, City Council established a 2-megawatts solar power pilot program for the Colorado Springs service territory.
“This was a mere vision when I was elected in April 2011, and now it has become a reality,” stated Councilwoman Brandy Williams.
