To kick-off the 2012 Indy GiVE! Campaign the Supporters of the Colorado Springs Community Centers invite you to:
POLL and PLAY, a non-partisan election party celebrating our right to vote!
November 6, 2012

This event is for ages 21 years and older. Cash bar available during event.
Donations to the www.indygive.com/CSCC will be encouraged during event. Can’t come? Donations can be made through Indy GiVE! until December 31, 2012.
The Colorado Springs Community Centers are moving kids in the right direction by providing enriching experiences in a safe and supportive setting. For $3 a day, a child can receive a healthy snack, homework help, and enrichment activities such as art, games, and active play.
The Deerfield Hills, Hillside, and Meadows Park Community Centers know that working families struggle to provide affordable activities for their children. Our programming addresses the disparities that ensue when children lack access to educational experiences and have deficient diets that do not support healthy lifestyles. Last year over 23,000 snacks were served to over 160,000 youth participants at the centers, which are located in neighborhoods where 80% of residents are at or below poverty level. Our sites uniquely combine activities for youth, adults, and seniors to allow the community to come together to curb cyclical poverty.
We believe that healthy kids create a healthy community. With your support, the community centers will continue to provide opportunities that help ensure a bright future for our children.
