Police Seek Individual

Monday, October 29, 2012, 10:00 AM [RELEASE AT WILL]

On Saturday, October 13, at 8:17pm, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a report of a carjacking at the intersection of Murray Boulevard and Galley Road.  The victim reported that his white Nissan pickup truck had been taken from him by an individual with a handgun. 

Officers located the vehicle in the area of Hancock and Fillmore Streets and attempted to stop it but the driver refused to stop.  The driver then fired several rounds from a handgun from the vehicle.  The officers continued to pursue the vehicle to the 600 block of North Circle where the suspect’s vehicle was forcibly stopped and he was taken into custody.
