Councilmembers Sneak a Peek at Sensors

On Friday, Oct. 19, council members Brandy Williams and Val Snider got an up-close-and-personal look at amorphous silicon (a-Si) sensor arrays used for high-resolution imaging solutions for some of today’s most innovative solutions in the medical, industrial and military markets at dpiX, a global leader in a-Si technology.

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, dpiX’s a-Si image sensor arrays have extensive uses in medical imaging, including radiography, fluoroscopy, cardiology and portal imaging, cardiovascular x-ray systems, radiation treatments and dental imaging.

Their technology is also applied in security applications which provide airports, law enforcement and military personnel fast, convenient and mobile ways to take real-time images.
