Apply for LART funding; deadline July 31st

The City of Colorado Springs Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax (LART) Advisory Committee is now accepting applications for funding requests for 2013.
The Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax (LART) requires these tax funds to be used for tourism or economic development purposes. Proposed events, projects and services that attract visitors or enhance the economy of the City and Pikes Peak Region may apply. Applications for LART funding requests are due by July 31, 2012. The applicationscan be found at www.springsgov.com/LART.
Applicants should provide current financial information of the entity requesting funds and their 2013 plans for the use of the funds. These uses should be presented in a measurable format so that the requests can be properly evaluated. The information is best provided by submitting official financial statements for 2011 and a formal budget plan for 2013 in addition to the application form.
