CSPD SEEKS YOUR HELP IN TRAFFIC FATALITY

Very early this morning, calls were placed to our Communications Center advising of a body in the roadway on Academy just south of Chelton Road.
Our Major Accident Unit responded to the scene and confirmed that a deceased adult male was located.
Notifications have been made to family members. The victim is identified as 68 year old, Colorado Springs resident Antonio Camarillo Gallegos.
MAU is continuing to work this investigation but would appreciate your help. If you were in the area near 6:00 am, and saw a gentleman walking or Mr. Gallegos being struck by a vehicle, please call us at 719.444.7000.
