Milton E. Proby Parkway Project - Weekend Traffic Advisory

Saturday, October 15th Work:

Starting Saturday, October 15 at 6 a.m. and continuing thru 9 p.m. north- and southbound Academy Boulevard traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Hancock Expressway to Bradley Road.  Also, eastbound Drennan Road will be closed from Boychuck Avenue to the intersection of Drennan Road and Academy Boulevard.  Motorists needing access to Academy Boulevard will be detoured to Boychuck Avenue and Hancock Expressway. Sunday, October 16th  Work:

On Sunday, October 16 at 6 a.m. and continuing thru 9 p.m. north- and southbound Academy Boulevard will reduced to one lane in each direction from Hancock Expressway to Bradley Road.  Please be advised ALL Jetwing Drive access to Academy Boulevard will be closed, excluding emergency vehicles only.  Also, the existing ramp for northbound Academy Boulevard traffic to eastbound Milton Proby Parkway will be closed to all thru traffic.  Motorists needing to travel east from northbound Academy Boulevard will be detoured to eastbound Bradley Road to northbound Hancock Expressway.  (see the attached detour map.) This closure and lane reduction is necessary for final paving operations to take place on Academy Boulevard.  Colorado Springs Police Officers and flaggers will be present to help motorists safely navigate the area and detours.  For up-to-date construction information, visit the project web site at www.BuildProby.com or call the project hotline at (719) 268-7430.
