Kids 6 to 18 Ride Mountain Metropolitan Transit All Summer for Just 20 Bucks ...

with the Summer Haul Pass!

Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT), the Transit Services Division of Colorado Springs, is once again offering the Summer Haul Pass program for kids 6 to 18. Kids can ride the fixed-route and Ute Pass Express buses all summer, June 1 through August 31, by purchasing the Summer Haul Pass for just $20.00.

The pass is in the form of a dog tag so kids can simply wear it around their neck and the tag is their ticket. MMT's Summer Haul Pass program has helped many kids in the Pikes Peak region get to events, local attractions and even summer jobs. With gas prices climbing the haul pass gives parents an affordable option. Passes can be purchased online and are also available at Transit Administration, 1015 Transit Drive, Colorado Springs and at participating King Soopers and Safeway stores. Details about the program can be found on MMT's web site.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region, as well as other services such as ridesharing, FrontRange Express and the Ute Pass Express commuter services. For added convenience, Mountain Metropolitan Transit offers bike racks on all buses through its bike-n-bus program.
