Councilmember and Committee Chair Val Snider opened the meeting at 8:30 a.m.

Introductions

Introductions were made by all present.

Presentations

Rick O’Conner, City Planning Department, discussed current city code provisions regarding oil and gas exploration and extraction.

Open Discussion

The function of the COGCC and the LGD process was discussed.  The committee started discussions on what areas it considers important to regulate.

Actions for Next Meeting

The Committee will decide on specific areas to regulate and discuss how that will be accomplished.

Committee Chair Val Snider adjourned the meeting at 11:40 a.m.
