Shortly after the municipal election on April 5, the Colorado Springs City Council created the City Council Memorial Health System Task Force to help newly elected Councilmembers understand the work that the Memorial Health System Commission accomplished. The Task Force will answer remaining open questions and explore the best role for Memorial Health System in serving the overall health care needs of Colorado Springs. The Task Force will complete its work by early August, presenting a recommendation to City Council regarding a possible ballot item for voter consideration in the November election. Meetings are open to the public. Click here to view MHS Town Hall Meeting.
