Segment 1, 2 & 3 Work Scheduled

Segment 1 Temporary Access Changes – Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Lane Reductions

Lane Reduction, Austin Bluffs Parkway at Stanton Road

Saturday, November 9 from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Austin Bluffs Parkway, both westbound and eastbound, will be reduced from two lanes to one from the UCCS West entrance to Stanton Road to accommodate waterline work. Two lanes in each direction will reopen to traffic Saturday, November 9 at 5:00 p.m.

Lane Reduction, Stanton Road north of Austin Bluffs Parkway

Saturday, November 9 from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Stanton Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers to accommodate a new irrigation crossing of Stanton Road. Stanton Road will reopen to two-way traffic Saturday, November 9 at 5:00 p.m.

Segment 2 Temporary Access Changes – Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Lane Reductions

Lane Reduction, Eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway east of Brenner Place

Beginning immediately, eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced from three lanes to two east of Brenner Place for construction of underground utilities. Intermittently, eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to one lane for concrete delivery. All lanes will reopen to traffic Monday, November 11 at 5:00 p.m.

Lane Reduction, Eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway to American Drive

Eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will continue to be reduced from three lanes to two at American Drive for construction of a new right turn lane. The right turn lane onto American will continue to be closed. Traffic making right turns should follow the posted detour route to Morning Sun Avenue. All lanes will reopen to traffic Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m.

Lane Reduction, Westbound Austin BluffsParkway at Meadowland Boulevard

Saturday, November 9 from 6:00 a.m. - 5 p.m., the right through on westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be closed for pavement repairs. Two westbound lanes remain open for through traffic on Austin Bluffs Parkway. All westbound lanes will reopen to traffic Saturday, November 9 at 5:00 p.m. 

Segment 3 Temporary Access Changes – Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Left TurnRestrictions

Left Turn Restriction, Austin Bluffs Parkway in-between Barnes Road and Oro Blanco Drive.

Left turns restrictions to or from Austin Bluffs Parkway will continue to be in place between Barnes Road and Oro Blanco Drive, until further notice.

Left Turn Restriction, Austin Bluffs Parkway in-between Oro Blanco Drive and Old Farm Drive

Beginning Saturday, November 9th, left turns to or from Austin Bluffs Parkway in-between Oro Blanco Drive and Old Farm Drive are prohibited, until further notice.

Segment 3 Temporary Access Changes – Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Lane Reductions and Closure of Vanadium Drive

Lane Reduction, Austin Bluffs Parkway between Barnes Road and Oro Blanco Drive

BeginningSaturday, November 9 from 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 10 at 11 a.m., Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced from two lanes to one between Barnes Road and Oro Blanco Drive to accommodate underground utility work. Two lanes in each direction will reopen to traffic on Sunday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m.

Closure of Vanadium Drive at Austin Bluffs Parkway

Beginning Monday, November 11 at 6 a.m. through Friday, November 15 at 5 p.m., access to Vanadium Drive to and from Austin Bluffs Parkway will be prohibited due to underground utility work activities. The intersection will reopen to traffic Friday, November 15at 5:00 p.m.

Lane Reduction, Austin Bluffs Parkway between Oro Blanco Drive and Ruby Drive

On Saturday, November 9 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced from two lanes to one between Oro Blanco Drive and Ruby Drive to accommodate pavement marking for new lane configurations. Two lanes in each direction will reopen to traffic at 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes during this planned work. Posted signage, cones and flaggers will be present to help motorists safely navigate the area.  Access to businesses and homes will be maintained at all times.
