The Pikes Peak Regional Transportation Authority (PPRTA) and the City of Colorado Springs will host a public open house to present the completed design for widening three key roadway segments on Austin Bluffs Parkway.
The open house will be held on Wednesday, February 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church located at 4210 Austin Bluffs Parkway. The purpose of the open house is to show the completed segment design plans to make Austin Bluffs Parkway a consistent six-lane roadway. The three roadway segments to be widened are: from Nevada Avenue to Union Boulevard, Union Boulevard to Meadowland Boulevard and Barnes Road to Old Farm Drive. The construction contractor will be selected later this year with construction to be completed late 2014.
